Marika commenced her training in 1966

21 June 2011 Margaret Saywell nee Bass

Margaret started her training in 1944 and died aged 84 years

24 March 2011 - Katherine Holroyde

Katherine died on 24 March. Katherine trained at The London Hospital in 1941.

25 December 2010 - Pat Grieve

Pat, a former London Hospital Nurse died on 26 December 2010

02 April 2010 - Dorothy Aileen Cooling

Aileen Cooling on the occasion of her 102nd birthdayDorothy Aileen Cooling died on 2 April peacefully in her sleep, aged 102 and 11 months. She trained at The London from around 1935 to 1939, and spoke very frequently of her experiences there.  She joined the QARNNS at the outbreak of the war, serving in Egypt, Hong Kong and the UK.  After the war she continued as a Naval nursing sister until her retirement in 1960, when she moved to Bath.
