The morning meeting and AGM will be on Saturday 22nd April 2006 in the Laird Hall, the Medical College building in Ashfield Street, Whitechapel. The entrance is on the other side of the road, opposite and down from the entrance to the Princess Alexandra School of Nursing. Coffee will be served from 10.00hrs. The morning speaker is Katherine Fenton, Director of Nursing and Quality. She will provide an update on Barts and The London NHS Trust and the provision of nursing care. The church service at St Dunstan's will be addressed by the Reverend Janice Cackett, a Londoner. The AGM begins at 15.15 hrs. Because of renovations and changes taking place on the Whitechapel site there will be a cold finger-buffet in the Laird Hall. Order forms were distributed with the recent notice of the meeting. General Meeting 2005 The meeting was held in Whitechapel on 8th October 2005. The professional topic for the day was renal medicine and transplantation. Helen Noble, Specialist Practitioner in Renal Supportive Care chaired the meeting. Annual General Meeting 2005 The AGM was held on 16th April 2005. The professional topic in the morning was the CLIP Project (Common Learning in Practice). Grainne Anthony outlined the project's findings for inter-professional placements in community settings. General Meeting 2004 The meeting was held at Whitechapel on 9th October 2004. The professional topic for the day was neurology and new treatments for epilepsy. Annual General Meeting 2004 The 73rd meeting was held at Whitechapel on 24th April 2004. Anthea Hare, a former ward sister of David Huges ward described the founding of Richard House Children's Hospice at Beckton. A hot lunch was followed by a church service at St Dunstans.
