Regional meetings of the Royal London Hospital League of Nurses

The League Executive Committee has suggested members could organise regional meetings for members and Londoners.

Hertfordshire Group

A new group based at Harpenden and covering Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire met for the first time in the autumn 2003. The next meeting will be on 7th August 2004 12.00 for 12.30 lunch. Contact the Honorary Editor, Anne Gee for more details.

Portsmouth Group

A group based on Portsmouth met for the first time in March 2003 and again in November 2003. The next meeting will be in June 2004. Details in the next issue of The Review.

West Country Group

The next meeting of the group will take place at Thistle Hotel, Exeter (opposite th Central station) on Wednesday June 2nd 2004 in the cocktail bar, 14.15 - 16.30hrs. Please confirm by May 1st, in writing if you intend to come, as tea haas to be ordered in advance: Shirley Firth, 6 Vales Road, Budleigh Salterton, Devon EX9 6HS.

The group first met in September and in November 2001. When they met in Exeter in May 2002 they were joined by President Miss Trudy Wood. Their June 2003 meeting for tea and a chat was at the Thistle Hotel, Exeter. All League members and RLH nurses are welcome to attend the Group, please telephone Shirley Firth on: 01395 445 265 for further details.
