The Benevolent Fund

The aims of the Fund are to assist any present or former members, of The London Hospital Group Nursing Staff, particularly those who are members of The League, with financial help and assistance. The Fund is administered in a completely confidential manner. If  a member is in need, please write to The President

The Clare Mann Bursary Fund

The aim of the Fund is to enable, by grants of money, members of The London Hospital League of Nurses to pursue a course of study for educational purposes which will be for the benefit of nursing practice, education, management or research.

The fund was established in 1962 in appreciation of Lady Mann's work on behalf of the League. Application.

The Ida Latham Memorial Fund

The fund was established in memory of Miss Latham's remarkable qualities and 25 years as a theatre superintendent, affecting so many nursing and medical professional lives.

A small educational grant is made each year to a member of The Royal London Hospital theatre staff. Application.

The Chris Moran Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is awarded annually to a surgical ward sister or charge nurse working at The Royal London Hospital. It was established in 1994 in memory of Chris Moran, a ward sister who died young. Application.

The Gill Garrard Memorial Fund

The Fund was established iin memory of Gill Garrard ('Cookie'), Senior Sister in the Receiving Room and Accident and Emergency Department, who died in 1991. In 35 years of nursing she only spent one year away from The London, undertaking midwivery training.

This annual award is made to a member of the nursing staff working in the Accident and Emergency Department.
